Branch Manager

Gascoigne Halman are seeking an enthusiastic individual to manage one of our branches in the South Manchester area.

As the leading Estate Agent in South Manchester, Cheshire and the High Peak, this is the perfect opportunity for an individual to join a hugely successful company who rewards and recognises excellence.

For anyone with experience in the industry, this role will allow the individual to progress their career further within our ‘Award Winning’ business.

We are looking for a dynamic individual who is keen to move into the position of a branch manager and excel in the role, you will be supported by a strong and established back up team to help grow the market share and maximise the income and profitability of the branch.

Skills: The skills required for this Branch Manager role will include:

  • Experienced residential Estate Agent
  • Experience in carrying out valuations
  • Excellent sales ability
  • High level of customer service skills
  • Professional telephone manner and positive attitude
  • Well presented, ambitious and self-motivated
  • Knowledge of the South Manchester/Cheshire area

Sales Negotiator - 1 x Macclesfield (Full Time), 1 x Whaley Bridge (Part Time), 1 x Poynton (Part Time)

The successful candidate must be an effective communicator and be confident in dealing with clients in person, over the phone and via e-mail. A friendly and professional manner is essential, combined with enthusiasm, attention to detail, a passion for property, making connections and conducting negotiations. The role will also require elements of administration.

Key Activities:

  • Dealing with telephone and e-mail enquires
  • Conducting and concluding negotiations
  • Research on house prices and market activity
  • Greeting people in the office
  • Arranging viewings
  • Obtaining valuations
  • Liaising with solicitors, surveyors and other professional contacts
  • Nurture existing client relationships
  • Administration including compliance and due diligence

Candidate Profile:

  • Estate Agency experience is preferable
  • Strong IT & administration skills - training on the in-house agency system will be provided
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Well presented
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Calm under pressure

Job Type: Full-time

Lettings Negotiator - Heaton Moor

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator and confident in dealing with clients in person, over the phone and via e-mail. A friendly and professional manner is required, combined with enthusiasm, attention to detail and strong IT / administration skills. 

Hours: Monday – Friday  8:45am - 5.30pm & Saturday on a rotation basis, Part Time Hours will also be considered.
 
Key Activities:

•    Arranging viewings
•    Receiving feedback and taking initial offers
•    Obtaining valuations
•    Regular client contact
•    Applicant management
•    Administration including creating of sales brochures and set up of new files
•    New business generation & building local brand profile
•    Keep up to date with trends in the local residential property market
•    Nurture existing client and contact relationships

Candidate Profile:

•    Proven track record of achieving objectives and building relationships
•    Well developed verbal and written communication skills
•    Ability to quickly build rapport and long standing relationships
•    Team player but able to work independently
•    Excellent IT and administration skills - training on the in-house agency system will be provided
•    Calm under pressure
•    Pro-active thinker who maximises opportunities 
•    Energetic, enthusiastic & entrepreneurial
•    Knowledge of the local area
