Gascoigne Halman provide a complete property letting service
through from valuation to property management once the house is let.

The department is headed by Philip Chadwick who has extensive local
knowledge and experience.
We believe it is important both for the owner and eventual tenant,
to appoint a specialist company to handle the letting of the property,
particularly since the introduction of fire regulations and legislation
affecting electrical and gas appliances.
Our initial visit to provide a rental valuation and advise on the
Housing Act and other ancillary matters is free.
If appointed we would then prepare details on the property, arrange
and accompany viewing's with prospective tenants.
We would handle:
- submission and negotiation of offers between client and tenant
- the taking up of references through a credit reference agency
- preparation of the tenancy agreement together with the relevant
Statutory Notices
- preparation of a detailed inventory the transfer of all utilities
and council and water rates
Our service doesn't stop there. If required, once the property is
let we can oversee the collection of rent inspect the property on a
quarterly basis, arrange any necessary maintenance and arrange for the
checking of all appliances and heating systems on an annual basis. |
